New online diversity and inclusion learning modules will give New Zealand organisations access to world-class training for people at all levels of their business, and in all locations.
The e-Diversity learning programme is being launched as a partnership between Diversity Works New Zealand and online training provider Skillpod. The first module will be available in early 2019.
Diversity Works New Zealand Chief Executive Rachel Hopkins says the new cost-effective web-based learning solution will allow organisations to accelerate the diversity and inclusion conversation throughout their business.
“The modules complement the face-to-face workshops and customised training we currently offer to people leaders, and HR and diversity and inclusion professionals. The online solution allows us to deliver the same research-based information and practical advice to everyone in the organisation,” she says.
It’s a flexible framework that allows people to take advantage of the training while managing their own schedules and business priorities.
“As the national body providing trusted advice to workplaces across all diversity dimensions, it’s fantastic to be able to provide this resource to boost organisations outside our city centres or those that have some of their team working regionally,” Hopkins says. “This offers a staff development solution for organisations from Kaitaia to Invercargill, whatever their size.”
