It’s Māori Language Week from September 10 to 16, and workplaces are encouraged to take part this year.
The theme is Kia Kaha te Reo Māori, which means let’s make the Māori language strong.
The Māori Language Commission is encouraging organisations and businesses to take part in special parades to commemorate the week in Auckland, Gisborne, Rotorua and Wellington.
It also has free downloadable resources for workplaces, including posters and phrase booklets covering all situations, including workplaces.
