Mary Haddock-Staniland has been appointed into the role of Head of Membership Services at Diversity Works New Zealand.
"Mary joins Diversity Works New Zealand with a wealth of skills and knowledge,” says Diversity Works Chief Executive Rachel Hopkins. “Our membership is growing and Mary’s client care and professional services experience will ensure every member gets the best support from us.”
"Mary has demonstrated a fierce passion for diversity and inclusiveness," she says. “I know that she will contribute positively to our members’ success and I am really looking forward to having her working alongside our members as they build a more inclusive Aotearoa/New Zealand."
Mary most recently worked at advertising agency Ogilvy, starting in HR in 2015 before moving to the television production department Film360 at the start of this year. Mary is also a director of a boutique PR agency, and will continue her various MC/Speaker obligations while at Diversity Works New Zealand.
"I am really looking forward to starting this role," says Haddock Staniland. "I think this will be the perfect environment for me given my personal passion is ensuring we are all treated with respect.”
Mary has a large social media presence and will continue to use these platforms to raise awareness of social injustices and other causes close to her heart. She will start the new role on 10 September.
