Take part in work-life balance research

Help New Zealand organisations understand how they can implement work-life balance policies that will beneficial to the business and the people working for it.

Massey University School of Management Doctoral student Josephine Malenga is looking for people employed in New Zealand to take part in her research project to investigate the various considerations that need to be accounted for in order to implement work-life policies that are effective.

“Work-life balance is a growing area of research interest partly because of the expected results it can have on employees – both mentally and physically. However, many of the policies in place in organisations are generic and assumed to be beneficial for everyone; and this may not be the case,” says Josephine.

“The end goal is to be able to justify the need for organisations to offer employees work-life policies that cater to their specific needs.”

Everyone who takes part in the research can opt in to receive a summary of the findings.
