A new website has been launched to help New Zealand businesses connect with a unique groups of job seekers.flexcareers.co.nz was set up to help women realise their career goals, without sacrificing their lifestyle and commitments.
Website general manager Jenny Tyler says flexcareers.co.nz wants to to connect talented individuals with progressive employers offering flexible work.
“Candidates who apply for roles through our site feel much more empowered discussing what flexible arrangements are available. Ultimately, we want flexibility to become the norm for everyone,” she says.
“Our platform is a great way to tap in to what we believe is an untapped market – professional females between the ages of 25 and 45. This is the primary demographic of our community, but we do have a number of people outside of this demographic, including men, who are seeking flexibility.”
Jobseekers can browse jobs offering flexibility by location, industries and work type, and also register on the FlexCareers database. Employers can post advertisements for roles on the site and search the database for candidates that match the skills and experience they are looking for.
