Is your organisation ready for the workforce of the future? We are partnering with the New Zealand Chambers of Commerce to look at how you can increase business success by engaging with workers across a range of ages and cultures.
One of Diversity Works NZ’s Diversity Advisors will facilitate a discussion on how our labour market is changing, the impact of immigration and the increase in Millennial and aging workers, and the opportunities and challenges that presents for our organisations around the country. The session will also cover strategies businesses can adopt to maximise the benefits of diversity in the workplace and create an inclusive culture that allows all staff to bring their whole selves to work, ensuring they have a workforce that is innovative and responsive to the changing needs of our economy.
Emma Collins from Fletcher Building will also be at this event to share how the organisation’s Whakatapu Māori Leadership Programme is ensuring the business has a higher representation of Māori in leadership roles, a more diverse leadership team and a staff which is able to reflect and engage with diverse clients. Fletcher Building was highly commended by the judges at the 2017 Diversity Awards NZ™. Read more about this initiative.
