Nearly a third of frontline workers in New Zealand say a fear of making mistakes prevents them from speaking out in support of diversity and inclusion.
This suggests that even in organisations where managers are role modelling inclusive behaviours, many people in frontline positions do not feel confident speaking up for colleagues from under-represented groups, contributing to inclusive change in the workplace or reflecting organisational values in daily interactions, internally or externally.
How can we empower all employees in our organisations to feel safe and confident talking openly about diversity and inclusion?
Diversity Sessions are interactive online conversations where we can explore inclusion issues impacting our organisations and our people.
Join this session where our speakers will explore barriers to courageous conversations and how organisations can create a culture where diversity is acknowledged, discussed and celebrated at all levels.
