This workshop focuses on managing workplace bullying and harassment with a view to enabling positive work environments to flourish. Developing a healthy and respectful workplace provides a number of wellbeing and productivity benefits to both employees and employers.
This 90-minute training aims to provide participants with an introduction to understanding the dynamics of workplace bullying and harassment in New Zealand workplaces. Additionally, participants will be introduced to key concepts and initiatives that can enhance healthy and respectful working relationships.
Participants will:
- Understand the concepts of workplace bullying and harassment.
- Learn about the prevalence, impact of workplace bullying and the organisational risk factors.
- Learn about evidence-based concepts such as psychosocial safety climate and the role of management concepts to facilitate healthy and respectful workplaces.
