CREATING RESPECTFUL WORKPLACES

This workshop focuses on managing workplace bullying and harassment with a view to enabling positive work environments to flourish. Developing a healthy and respectful workplace provides a number of wellbeing and productivity benefits to both employees and employers

It will guide you through the primary, secondary and tertiary approaches to the prevention and management of bullying and harassment in the workplace. It explores the traps and pitfalls and teaches you how to challenge behaviour and intervene to resolve issues, enabling you to empower a strong, productive workplace.

Available as face-to-face training or an online session.

Learning objectives for in-person session

  • Define harassment, bullying and discrimination and its consequences
  • Identify relevant legislation
  • Understand that harassment, bullying, and discrimination is unacceptable and that it will not be tolerated in their workplace
  • Use the internal policy and procedures for harassment, bullying and discrimination and if necessary access further information and assistance

Learning objectives for virtual session

  • Define workplace bullying and harassment
  • Learn about the prevalence, impact of workplace bullying and the organisational risk factors
  • Learn about evidence-based concepts such as psychosocial safety climate and the role of management concepts to facilitate healthy and respectful workplaces

  • After confirming availability, you will receive an email with relevant workshop details and materials and automated reminders will be scheduled too;
